Anti-harassment and bullying policy

Introduction
Pure Klass Cleaning is committed to providing a work environment that is free from harassment and bullying. We believe that all employees have the right to be treated with dignity and respect.

Policy Statement
We do not tolerate any form of harassment or bullying in our workplace. Any such behavior is considered a serious disciplinary offense and will be dealt with accordingly.

Scope
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, clients, visitors, and anyone who has a relationship with Pure Klass Cleaning.

Definitions
Harassment: Unwanted conduct affecting the dignity of men and women in the workplace. It may be related to age, sex, race, disability, religion, sexual orientation, nationality, or any personal characteristic of the individual.
Bullying: Offensive, intimidating, malicious, or insulting behavior, an abuse or misuse of power through means intended to undermine, humiliate, denigrate, or injure the recipient.


Responsibilities
Employees are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and considerate manner at all times.
Managers have a specific responsibility to act upon any complaint of harassment or bullying and to support any employee who feels they have been harassed or bullied.
HR Department is responsible for ensuring that this policy is implemented effectively and for managing harassment and bullying complaints.


Reporting Procedures
Any employee who feels they have been subjected to harassment or bullying should report the incident to their manager or HR department.
All complaints will be taken seriously and treated with respect and confidentiality.


Investigation
A prompt and thorough investigation will be conducted for every complaint received.
Appropriate action will be taken against any employee who violates this policy.


Training
Regular training will be provided to all employees to ensure they understand their rights and responsibilities under this policy.


Support
Employees who have been harassed or bullied will receive support and counseling as needed.


Review
This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure it remains effective and reflects best practices.
